Brownley Beach Cottage

The house was nicely decorated, conveniently located, and provided plenty of space for our family. The bedrooms were spacious and offered ample storage, and there were a sufficient number of bathrooms conveniently located near the bedrooms. The Sandbridge team was excellent and very responsive throughout our stay. There were, however, several areas where the property could be improved. Most importantly, the house could have been cleaner. While the overall cleaning appeared to be superficial, there were numerous areas that needed more thorough attention. The WiFi was also extremely slow and unreliable during our stay. The kitchen supplies were dated and, in some cases, not in usable condition. Although sheets were provided, some of the pillow shams and dark-colored comforters appeared dirty and had visible white residue. The bath towels were very small, and the sizes were inconsistent. We were also surprised that the towel sets did not include shower mats. The sliding door was nearly impossible to operate. The storage container on the deck had a very unpleasant odor. The decorative tree pieces throughout the backyard were dangerous for little children. More generally, the backyard landscaping would benefit from some basic cleanup and maintenance. Despite these concerns, we enjoyed the property overall and appreciated its location, spacious layout, pool, and family-friendly amenities.

Our family of 5 adults and 3 kids age 5 & under thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is just 2 houses from beach access and the beach entry has a long access mat which made rolling our beach wagons easy. Our favorite thing about the house is the screened porch and huge 3-sided deck all made from lovely composite material and outfitted with plenty of high quality chairs and loungers. We liked the old school panelled bedrooms, the ample great room, and 2 outdoor showers.

Wonderful location near the ocean. Elevator was a huge plus, as my dad has PCA and limited vision.Our six year old loved it, and we cannot wait to come back next year!

Great stay!Came down for a football tournament and the house was great. Close to everything and a quick walk to the beach is always a nice touch.

Great VA Bch quiet getaway!!We really enjoyed the beach cottage! Was comfy and had everything we needed to enjoy our family Christmas!! Kitchen faucet and toilet seat need to be tightened up, but other than that, everything was Great and we were able to extend our stay by a day without any problem. Thank you!!

AmazingWe booked this place with my family and 3 others for a wrestling event and beach fun. This location was right across from the ocean very clean quiet and great for our kiddos !
