Seaside #A201- Ocean Getaway

My family has been coming to Sandbridge since 1980 and have stayed in many homes over the years. This was a great location with very easy access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, the hosts were responsive. The large family room was great for gathering. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

The property management company contacted us a couple days prior to ensure we received the welcome email. We were arriving late and it was a nice confirmation that entering the property would be seamless, which it was. The condo was clean, spacious and well laid out, meaning bedrooms were tucked behind the main kitxhen/family room main area,So plenty of privacy and quiet space. The beach is one block from condo, so an easy walk to beach with chairs. Beach is beautiful and not crowded as it appears the only people visiting also own or rent. I did not see a big public parking lot. The condominium was barely filled as we were off season ,So it was an extra special treat. The parking lot is spacious, allowing for one additional guest. The pool area is a bit small/dated but a nice option if you’re not beach people or if you have small kids. The location is about 10 minutes from a main grocery store, gas station, restaurants. The only places that are near property are mom and pop type places, which adds to the charm. We were here for a college graduation and if you want a quieter venue compared to the main Virginia Beach, this place is a great option.

We had a lovely stay and felt like we had our own private vacation as we were a smidge off season. The condo unit was very spacious and clean. The floor plan allowed for additional privacy with bedrooms tucked away from the main open concept living room/kitchen space. The condo was well stocked with supplies for the first day (paper towel, toilet paper, dish detergent, etc), so a need to hit the store was not necessary. There was a very spacious patio where we ate breakfast every morning. There were plenty of kitchen supplies but truthfully only ate breakfast/lunch at condo. There are local mom and pop type stores a few minutes up the road. The main grocery store is about 10 min away. The beach is a blockand a half away. Easy enough to comfortably walk with beach gear. There is a pool which we did not use b/c lets face it, why spend any amount of time at pool when you can be at beach. The beach is very pruvate…no major parking lot for non residents, so super quiet with beach as far as you can see. The only thing to be aware of and maybe it was on description is the condo unit is on the second floor with no elevator .You have to go a full set of stairs to enter condo. I add this as my 88!year old mother typically vacations with us and this would have been a hardship. Lastly, i wanted to mention that checkin is seamless. The office is 1 mile from condo unit. I arrived after hours and that was also seamless. We’d recommend this condo.

The place is comfortable and spacious. I fished so being close to the beach was great. Sandbridge was quiet and peaceful. Overall it was a good experience and the price is right!

Great floor plan. 2 balconies. Very clean and plenty of towels. Very nice to have washer and dryer. Kitchen had everything you’d need!Very close to beach. 2 minute walk
